Registerin PatternMaker
Do I need to register?
If you're happy using the Basic Version, you don't have to register. The
demo version of PatternMaker that you downloaded or received on disk will
allow you to explore the Home Version features for 30 days. After that
time, the program reverts back to the Basic Version. You must register/purchase
the program in order to keep using the full Home version features.
If you've purchased only a garment collection (ie. not the Home Version)
you do not need to register. Your installation will automatically convert
to the Basic Version after 30 days.
If you have purchased the Home Version, you do need to register in order
to have access to the Home Version features more than 30 days from when
you installed the program. What will I get? Registering gives you the
benefit of having all the CAD drawing and editing tools available. The
Basic Version will still run the macros, but you will not be able to draw
or edit anything on the screen.
The registration process does not convert the demo macros into functioning
macros. The demo macros (names beginning with "dl") are included simply
to introduce new users to how PatternMaker's macro system works. You can
delete the "dl" macros if you wish. You can continue using any macro collections
you have from a previous version of PatternMaker.
What does it cost?
If you have previously purchased the Home Version of PatternMaker,
the upgrade is free! You only need to register to receive the unlocking
code. If you own the Basic version, or none at all, you need to buy one
of the commercial versions.
How do I register?
Just follow the instructions in the "Register" dialog box (found on
the Settings menu). Entering your name will generate the ID String. This
string is what we need in order to issue your password. Note: W encourage
contact by e-mail, in order to reduce the chance of error. Simply cut
and paste the ID String from the Registration box into your e-mail message.
You get your registration unlock code from where you bought the program.
